I cannot say this enough: Venice is beautiful and dreamy. On our 2nd day in Venice, we took a vaporetto to Burano; an island in the Venetian Lagoon. The boat ride was about 40 minutes long, but it was well worth it. Burano is known for its lacework and brightly colored homes. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of risotto, accompanied by a Spritz. This island is laid back, quiet and the entire time you feel like you are in a book that is illustrated by a very talented artist…seriously though..the colors are out of this world. I hope you enjoy our photos of this colorful little island…but believe me when I say that these pictures do not do it justice.
