Hi all. I miss you and I hope you miss me too. I know in an earlier post, I said that I am back for good…but I didn’t stick to that. Although I enjoy sharing bits and pieces of my life with you, I find it hard to update regularly. I apologize for this-as it is a failure on my part. After much thought, I have decided to make a commitment of submitting a new entry at least once a week. I will try my best to hold to this commitment.
So here is a little update of what’s been happening…
We have MOVED!!! From Brooklyn to…Brooklyn! Only now we are closer to the city and work 🙂 I get to walk to work!

Once the snow started to melt, Greg and I took our bikes out on weekends and enjoyed our neighborhood via biking. I used to think I’d be afraid of biking because of the heavy traffic around here..but I am happy to report that my fear is gone. Greg was a good mentor and now I can freely bike along with the cabs and buses!

Spring ‘11 went by fast and was packed with much excitement!
There was my Masters graduation:

Various BBQ’s/ Delicious Skirt Steak:

Summer came just as fast as Spring went by…
First was Angie’s Bridal Shower. The theme? English tea time! All of the ladies were dressed in their best tea time attire-hats included! We snacked on finger sandwiches, crumpets, creme and fruit..and sipped, well, tea of course!!!

Followed by Angie’s wedding to Joost. It was a beautiful and intimate wedding…filled with family, love, laughter, God’s blessings and plenty of culture!!! Oh, and did I mention their uniquely awesome cheese cake?!

Summer wouldn’t be summer without multiple weddings…so here is a bit on the marriage of Marianna and Valeriy! Their ceremony was so beautiful and intimate. From the unity candles, to the communion, to the location-all wonderful and blessed. It was a very fun wedding and as beautiful and the couple!

Weddings are wonderful…as is family. Going to the wedding above gave us the opportunity to spend some quality time with my family. We enjoyed a nice BBQ/picnic at the home of my parents, where the kids played some circle volleyball and the adults sat around on blankets in the shade.

Along with weddings and family gatherings, there have been plenty of trips to Central and Bryant Park so far this summer.
You can’t beat laying around and having a lazy afternoon in one of our nations most recognized parks!!! The grass is green, the sky is blue, the blanket is cozy, and my date…fell asleep!

Well friends…I have plenty more to say, but time is ticking and dinner isn’t going to make itself! I will continue to update you with the events of this summer..as there is more to come!!!!
